Teaching with Technology

Research suggests teachers tend to teach they way they were taught. However the 21 Century teacher is no longer a scripted reader of instructional content. Today's teacher is an instructional designer, curator of content and designer of interactive learning. This requires teachers to become life long learners who are themselves exercising 21 century skills such as: communication with colleagues, collaboration with teachers from around to world, and critical thinkers of instructional tools and approaches and creators of content.

What is one way you plan on changing your instruction to teaching and learning?

  5. I plan on utilizing more interactive presentations to engage students in the learning process, so that they will learn more effectively than could be possible through simple direct instruction alone.
